Precious Disciple of Jesus Christ, the Daystar,
Pride, by its very nature, cannot see itself. This is what makes this sin so dangerous to the person in bondage to it.
The proud person is quick to see the faults of others but slow to admit his own faults. Indeed, the proud person may even think he has no flaws.
If you find yourself thinking you are perfect–or close to it–you may be guilty of pride. If so, repent. Then focus on removing the plank from your own eye instead of the splinter from your brother’s eye.
Your sister in Christ,
