Precious Disciple of Jesus Christ, the Daystar,

We often take for granted that to which we become accustomed. Familiarity often breeds complacency. Too frequently, only when we lose wht we took for granted do we appreciate it.

This week’s verse warns us not to take for granted the message of the glorious Gospel. Unless we keep it as our highest priority, we will fall into a state of complacency regarding it.

Purpose in your heart today that you will pay more attention to the Word of God than you ever have before. The times are growing increasingly perilous, and only God’s Word will give us the wisdom and strength we need to make it.

Your sister in Christ,

Dr. MaryAnn Diorio
