Precious Disciple of Jesus Christ, the Daystar,

This week’s Scripture verse makes clear that living in freedom is contingent on obeying God’s commandments. Indeed, we will walk in freedom to the degree that we oby God.

In order to obey God, we must know what He wants us to do. And in order to know what He wants us to do, we must read His Word.

I like to call the Bible The Maker’s Manual. Like a car manual, the Bible is the instruction book that God supplied with the creation of man and woman. The Bible tells us how we’re put together and how to fix our lives when something goes wrong.

So, let’s study the manual! The more we learn and apply what’s in that greatest of books, the freer we will be.
