Precious Disciple of Jesus Christ, the Daystar,
Bigger is not always better. A bigger car is not always a better car. A bigger church is not always a better church. A bigger ministry is not always a better ministry.
Often, those who are in the forefront and who are the most vocal are also the most shallow or self-serving, while those who are in the background and who are the most quiet have often experienced the deepest revelations of God because of their humility.
Satan would have us believe that success is measured in size or popularity. Yet, some of the most significant moves of God’s Holy Spirit have taken place through the lives of the so-called “little” people–those unknowns who have lived quiet, faithful lives in the background.
I believe that when we get to Heaven, we are going to be surprised as to who is really great. What matters is not how big our ministry grows or how well-known we may become. What matters is are we doing what God has called us to do, and are we being faithful in it.
