Precious Disciple of Jesus Christ, the Daystar,
After Thomas Aquinas wrote his greatest work, the Summa Theologica, he looked at it and said that it was as straw compared to the glory of Jesus Christ.
The Apostle Paul said basically the same thing centuries earlier. Both of these men realized that every accomplishment, every feat, or every discovery is nothing compared to the value of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ? Have you accepted Him as your Savior and Lord? If you do have a relationship with Christ, what is the health of that relationship? Are you giving Him first place in your life? Are you obeying His commandments? Are you walking in His love?
Let’s take time this week to examine the status of our relationship with Christ. If it is non-existent, then click here. If you already have a relationship with Christ, ask yourself if that relationship is where you want it to be. If it is not, then ask God what you can do to imrpove it.
