Precious Disciple of Jesus Christ, the Daystar,
Peter’s decision to distance himself from our Lord just before Christ’s trial was not simply a physical distancing. It was emotional, psychological, and spiritual as well.
Peter’s distancing was motivated by fear and, therefore, opened the door for Satan to enter in, resulting in Peter’s denial of Christ.
Have you distanced yourself from the Lord through fear, disobedience, or any other sin? If so, it is time to draw close again. Like Peter, repent. Then allow our Lord to bridge the distance with His healing love (John 21: 15-17).
Your sister in Christ,
Dr. MaryAnn Diorio
