Precious Disciple of Jesus Christ, the Daystar,
Receiving what we need from God is very simple. All we have to do is take Him at His Word. But, as often happens in life, we complicate matters with all kinds of questions and doubts.
Jesus said we must become like little children (Matthew 18: 3). Little children never question or doubt what is told them; they simply believe it and act accordingly.
For instance, when a parent tells his little child that he will get him a puppy for his birthday, the children expects to receive a puppy on his birthday and prepares for the pet’s arrival.
If you are not receiving what you need from God, the problem is not with God; it is with you. God is ever the great Giver, but it’s up to us to receive what He gives. To do so, just believe what He says and act accordingly.
Your sister in Christ,
