Precious Disciple of Jesus Christ, the Daystar,
Has anyone ever made you a promise and then broken it? Or perhaps you yourself have broken promises made to others. The pain associated with broken promises can be deep and far-reaching.
There is One, however, Who has never broken a promise, nor ever will. As our meditation verse for this week tells us, He is our God, “the faithful God Who keeps covenant . . . .”
As God’s children, we have a covenant with Him, an everlasting covenant sighed with the Blood of Jesus Christ. This covenant is His Word. Whatever He promises in His Word, He will perform in our lives. We have only to take Him at His word.
Whatever you need from God today, find His promise for that need. Then believe His promise. It will come to pass in your life because our God keeps all of His promises.
Your sister in Christ,
Dr. MaryAnn Diorio
