Precious Disciple of Jesus Christ, the Daystar,
What an exciting Scripture verse our Lord has given us for this week! It is a major key to living the Christian life victoriously. God is telling us that when we praise Him in the midst of our trials, we are actually preparing the way for Him to deliver us from those trials. Hallelujah!
Too often, however, we allow our trials to thrust us into complaining, self-pity, or bitterness. This is dangerous because complaining, self-pity, and bitterness keep us stuck in our trials and rob us of our victory over them. On the other hand, praising God in the midst of our trials glorifies Him and moves His hand on our behalf.
So, no matter whatever trials you are facing today, begin to praise God in the midst of them. Doing so is an expression of your trust that He is with you and that He will deliver you.
