The Daystar Devotional 2003-09-17

September 17, 2003

“Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire]renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].” (Romans 12: 2 AMP)

Precious Disciple of the Daystar, Jesus Christ,

One of the most common prayer requests I receive is to now God’s will. Romans 12: 2 tells us how to discover it. I have used the Amplified translation to help you see the nuances of what this passage means.

We discover God’s will by learningto think how God thinks. We learn to think how God thinks by studying His word.

In essence, the passage is saying that the more we learn to think how God thinks, the more we will discover His will for our lives.

So, if you want to know God’s will for you, get to know God’s Word.

Your sister in Christ,

Dr. MaryAnn Diorio
