Precious Disciple of the Daystar, Jesus Christ,
A pilot learns early on in his training to trust his instruments over his senses. The reason is that the senses are not always trustworthy indicators of position, location, or other factors involved in flying an airplane.
Just as a pilot learns to rely on his instruments, so must we learn to rely on God’s Word. When we make decisions based on our feelings, we usually get ourselves into trouble. But when we make decisions based on God’s Word, we never get into trouble.
Learn to trust God’s Word over your feelings. His Word will always point you in the right direction and bring you safely to your destination.
Your sister in Christ,
