Precious Disciple of Jesus Christ, the Daystar,
The end of man is God’s pleasure. The means to that end is faith.
What is faith? The Bible tells us in Hebrews 11: 1 that “faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” In other words, faith is the legal document that assures us we have what God has promised us before we ever see it.
Faith believes that God says Who He says He is and that He can and will do what He says He can and will do. Faith does not look at circumstances (what is seen), but it looks at the fulfillment of God’s promise (what is not yet seen).
Let us please God by taking Him at His Word and acting like it.
