“Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle.” (Revelation 14:14)

Precious Disciple of Jesus Christ, the Daystar,
Have you ever tried cutting a loaf of bread with a dull knife? Doing so does not give good results. Either you sharpen the knife or you choose a knife that is already sharp.
In order for us to do a job well, we need to have sharpened tools. When I draw, I must have a sharp point on my sketching pencil. A butcher must have a sharp blade on his knife. A seamstress must have sharp blades on her scissors.
God always uses sharp instruments. We are His instruments. As such, we must see to it that we are always sharp and ready for the Master’s use. How do we sharpen ourselves? We do so through prayer, Bible study, and practicing God’s Presence throughout the day. We do so by meditating on His Word, by speaking His Word, and by standing firmly on His Word during difficult times.
Not only must God’s instruments be sharp, but they must also be ready at hand.
Are you sharp and ready for our Lord’s use?
Your sister in Christ,
Dr. Mary Ann Diorio
