Precious Disciple of Jesus Christ, the Daystar,

You will never overcome a problem in your life if you are thinking more about the problem than about the Word of God. If the problem looms larger in your mind than the solution to the problem, then the problem will prevail.

We are the servants of our thoughts: As a man thinks, . . . so is he” (Proverbs 23: 7).

What thoughts are you serving? Are you serving thoughts of sickness, lack, or defeat? Are you serving thoughts of fear, hopelessness, or revenge?

You will receive what you serve. You will become what you accept.

Changing your thoughts is not easy, but it is doable. God will never command us to do something we cannot do. Trust the Holy Spirit within you to help you. Surround yourself with strong believers who speak words of faith. Praise Go continually. Praising God helps drive out negative thoughts and helps you to focus on God’s promises.

Determine today to serve the thoughts of God as found in HIs Word. Meditate on them day and night (Joshua 1: 8). Then, and only then, will you overcome the problems in your life.

Your sister in Christ,

Dr. MaryAnn Diorio
