Precious Disciple of Jesus Christ, the Daystar,
Our Lord promises to give us peace in the midst of every storm. But sometimes we don’t experience this peace. Why not?
When Peter decided to walk on water, he was doing fine as long as he kept his eyes on Jesus. But the instant Peter took his eyes off Jesus and put them on the wind and the waves, he grew fearful and began to sink. When his focus shifted, he lost his peace.
If you are not experiencing peace, you’ve taken your focus off Jesus and put it on your problem. Get your focus back on Jesus. One of the best ways to do so is to meditate on His Word throughout the day. This will keep your ind on Him Who is our Peace.
