Precious Disciple of Jesus Christ, the Daystar,

Someone recently sent me via email an inspiring piece, attributed to a certain Arlyn Flippen, that read, “If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it. If God had a wallet, your photo would be in it.” The point of the piece, as the writer concluded, is that God is “crazy about you!”

And, indeed, He is! Why is it, however, that we often have such a hard time grasping that truth? If we really believed that God is crazy about us, how would our lives be different?

Our Scripture verse for this week reminds us yet again that God’s plans for our lives are good plans. What good parent would not desire the best for his or her child? God is the perfect Parent–and the great news is that He is OUR Father!

So, surrender yourself to His plans for you. If you’ve been resisting His will for your life, stop now. Make a U-turn and get with God’s program for you. Then you’ll discover what real fulfillment is all about!

Your sister in Christ,

Dr. MaryAnn Diorio
